File Editor

Sheeta AI includes a built-in file editor for working with data, query, and text files. View and edit CSV, JSON, and other common formats without leaving the application.

Opening files

To open a file:

  1. Click the File icon to open the file explorer.
  2. Select a file from the file explorer. The file opens as a new tab in the main panel.
  3. Edit the file content using the built-in code editor. All VS Code keyboard shortcuts are supported.
  4. Press Cmd+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows/Linux) to save your changes.

You can also drag and drop files directly onto the Sheeta AI window.

Importing to database

To import file data into your database, right-click on the file and select Import to Database from the context menu.
